Bangladesh acid attack survivors helping each other heal
The girl who lost her face: A story of courage and friendship in a remarkable clinic for victims of acid attacks in Bangladesh. Many of the staff are survivors of acid attacks themselves. Giles Duley, himself injured on assignment in Afghanistan several years ago visited the clinic in the capital Dhaka to tell the story of a young victim rebuilding her life and the team helping her.
