Firefighter Rescues Baby Bird From Bolivian Wildfires

It was a sign of hope amid the devastation of wildfires in Bolivia. A firefighter found a baby bird in distress and rescued it, giving it water and removing it from harm’s way. The Santa Cruz Municipal government says the wildfires have burned more than 1 million acres so far, which is about the size of the state of Delaware. Meanwhile, global outrage is brewing over the thousands of fires in the Amazon rainforest.’s Mara Montalbano has more.
