Is Australia on track to meet its Paris target? | Four Corners

With a Federal election looming, Four Corners investigates Australia’s struggle to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and stave off catastrophic global warming.

Under the Paris Agreement, Australia has promised to reduce its emissions by 26 to 28 per cent by 2030 and while the Federal Government says we will meet that target, the Government’s own data tells a different story.

Four Corners investigates four key areas of the economy that are contributing emissions; transport, industry, agriculture and electricity.
