Protecting Hawaii’s endangered plants, animals
The Hawaiian Islands contain a vast array of natural ecosystems and are home to plants and animals found nowhere else in the world. Today many of these species are on the U.S.’s Endangered Species List and are struggling for survival. Learn what steps the U.S. Army is taking to manage and protect these Hawaiian species to enable military readiness in the Pacific and comply with the Endangered Species Act.
