A 22-year-old has raised $30M to fund his idea behind cleaning up plastic in the ocean
Boyan Slat’s “Ocean Cleanup” machine is projected to clean 50% of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, one of the most polluted areas of ocean, in five years. The first system will be deployed in 2018.
